Used gaming computers
To play games, you need a computer with a capable processor and graphics card. However, there are a large number of games that work perfectly well on a second-hand PC. The very latest graphics cards are perfect for playing AAA titles with ultra-graphics, but if you're playing simpler games, or don't need the highest possible graphics settings, you can go a long way with a second-hand gaming computer. Cheap Technology stocks gaming PCs with different performance levels in different price ranges. Check what generation of processor and graphics card comes with your computer and see if it's adequate for the game you want to play.
Used gaming laptop
Gaming laptops have become incredibly popular in recent years as their performance year on year has come closer to that of desktops with 45w processors from Intel and AMD and graphics cards that from the Nvidia 9xx series onwards have been close to desktop versions in performance. Remember to also check the screen of the computer you buy. If it's 60hz and you want to play only on the built-in screen, you'll be fine with components that can deliver about 60fps in your games. If the screen has a higher refresh rate, higher performance is good to get, for example, 144fps on your 144hz screen. Another thing to look for is the Thunderbolt port. Even if your computer has a graphics card from a few generations back, with a Thunderbolt 3 port and an external GPU you can easily upgrade with a better graphics card if the need arises. This gives you much more flexibility to keep your new but used gaming computer for years to come.
Used desktop gaming computer
The classic way to game is clearly a desktop gaming computer. A desktop computer has much more room for power and cooling and is therefore ideal for delivering great performance in games where fast action is always important. One advantage of buying a desktop gaming computer is that it is very easy to upgrade. You can add more or faster RAM, better graphics cards, more hard drives or SSDs and even change the processor if you need to. Buy a good basic gaming machine from Billig Teknik that you can enjoy for many years and upgrade on an ongoing basis as your needs and the games on the market evolve.
