11-inch laptop

Eleven inches is a size that has been very popular for many years, but as screens have gotten bigger and screen bezels smaller, new laptops have gotten a little smaller. The ones being made now are often Chromebooks, which are perfect for use as surfing computers or for the kids. There are also a bunch of tablets that are 11" but can be assembled with keyboards and used very similar to a laptop. A very popular version that we often stock is the Macbook Air 11". If it's not available at the moment, it's worth coming back a little later as the range changes every week. 

12-inch laptop

Twelve inch was for many years the most popular category of laptops and there are therefore a very large number of options to buy second hand. We often stock many different year models with different types of performance. A 12-inch laptop is often very light, but there is still enough room to accommodate both high-performance components and enough inputs and outputs. If you want to connect it to an external monitor - make sure there are the right ports for this. Also check the resolution a second time. A higher resolution will make it easier to use a 12 or 12.5 inch computer. 

13-inch laptop

Thirteen inches is still a very popular size for laptops, so there are second-hand options to buy that are in mint condition with the same performance as computers being released today. A 13 inch laptop is a great balance between size and agility where you will be able to use the screen very well, even for multi tasking, but at the same time have an incredibly light computer that will be able to go anywhere without weighing you down. It's one of the sizes we'd recommend to most people. Plus, they're available as both PC and Mac!
