Choosing the right USB-C charger for your laptop

USB-C is, as we said, a standard and that means you are free to choose which charger you want. However, you need to make sure that the charger can deliver enough energy required to power and charge your computer. Most USB-C chargers for computer are 45w, 65w or around 90w. A 45w charger is smaller and lighter, but usually can't power a computer with a strong processor and graphics card. So make sure you check what the lower limit is for your computer and choose this or higher. When you choose a 65w charger instead of 45w, your computer will be able to charge slightly faster than with the original charger. It is not dangerous for your device to choose a higher W figure as it will adapt to the device. However, it is not necessary to choose the highest one as it will also be the heaviest.
